Remove the oral swab from the Plain envelopes in the DNA test kit. First, you will want to Label your Swab envelopes. It is easier to write on the envelope if you take the buccal swab out of the envelope. Be sure tom use the appropriate envelope for each person tested. For Example, Child's envelope for the child , alleged Father's envelop for the Father, etc. Write in the requested Information asked on the envelope. you also need to fill the consent form you find inside the kit

Open the wrapper at the Opposite end of the polyester tip. Remove one swab from the package and be careful not to touch the polyester tip. Be sure that your mouth is opened wide. Insert a swab into the mouth and rub it firmly up and down inside the cheek for a full 30seconds. Be sure to relate the swab efforts to collect cells on the entire swab tip. This helps reduce the need need for collection.

Allow the swab to dry for about an hour . A good way to do this is to place them upright in a clean Glass. Once they are dry you can return them to their corresponding envelopes. Make sure that at no time do swabs from different people come into contact with one another.
